A Little about Me
I was born in Texas, and the family business was an ever changing landscape of farming – citrus, cotton, sugar, to name a few – real estate and oil. Mixed into business was God and football, which are two staples in just about every Texas household. I will always be a Texan, but with a head for numbers, I made NYC my home working on Wall Street for firms like NYSE, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, UBS and RBC just to name a few of the fantastic places where I learned about the financial world.
Looking for a change of pace, I moved to Arizona because I wanted to be surrounded by beauty. It was a struggle to leave the coast, but having lived on the water my entire life, I thought it was OK to check out the desert and expand my horizons. I get up before sunrise so I can workout, play with my Doberman and have some time to myself before my day begins. I feel blessed and lucky to see every gorgeous Arizona sunrise and equally so, when I catch the sunsets, they’re really something to behold.
There’s an old saying that states it’s impossible to be thankful and stressed at the same time. Although the financial world can be a stressful place, I am very grateful for the knowledge I have acquired, the people who put confidence in me to manage their money and the opportunities I have to make a difference in people’s lives.
